Day 6 – 8:
October 2/fri: Arches National Park with Graham and Melissa…seeing
the sights, hiking, visiting,
campfires...thanks Graham and Melissa!
October 3: Arches National Park

October 4: Arches National Park – left at 3 pm to get us
closer to drop off point for Melissa and Graham’s cataraft adventure in
Desolation Canyon tomorrow.
Overnight in
the BLM primitive campsites at Swasey’s boat ramp.
This was an excellent choice made by Graham
and Melissa for convenience and it was such a grand location.
Views of buttes, raging Green River and small
sand beach just outside our door with fire ring (and fire thanks to
Graham)…even a picnic table under cottonwood trees for a staggering $10.
No cell service.
Watching the rafters coming down the river in
the various types of rafts.
