Our day started with a soak in the somewhat fast moving stream/hot ditch…just us. Again, people came and went but mostly we were alone with two rv’s further up. Too hot during the day to even think about more hot…probably 70 degrees (weather is holding nicely and we are a couple of miles max from Oregon). We took a walk, then a jeep run up the dirt road, nap for me, dinner and then hot soak when it was cold enough to actually feel COLD when you left the hot ditch. The water was clean with only a little algae here and there. It is VERY dusty here and Mali is one dirty dog…if you pat her she poofs dirt….. Night time temps have been down into the high teens or low 20’s. A short night soak because it was still pretty hot water and a bit early in the evening AND we both thought we were getting bit by orange mites (in the lower pool). The scenery here is pretty breathtaking. People come and go to get a quick soak (in the day especially since it is a HOT 102 with 70 degrees temps).
