This morning we awoke to someone running a car (sleeping in it???) next to the hot spring we were staying at. It was our plan to leave and after a bit of generator magic, we left headed to another hot spring. David was not having much luck today so the hot spring on rancher’s land had been closed to the public (thanks party animals to you and your trash). Instead we landed in Water Canyon campground. A FREE BLM campground just outside of Winnemucca, Nevada. I LOVE Nevada’s remoteness and awesome mountains (mostly with no trees).
So we have this lovely site with trash and a gargling stream next to us along with cottonwoods (not sure what they are yet).
