New Brunswick here we come - Day 7

October 5:

New Richmond to Campbellton.  It rained pretty much all day…a very gray day.  We elected to stay in Campbellton for the night because we had heard it was RV friendly.

We had a look around Walmart, Canadian Tire (not just tires), and Atlantic Superstore for veggies (which was disappointing it being a Sunday and they apparently didn’t believe in misting their green leafy veggies to keep them alive).  In the end we settled on overnighting at what is to be a riverfront campground (probably municipal)…no sign just campsites and bathhouse that were obviously in the end stages of being constructed. (no electrical boxes yet and no water spigots).

We just needed a place to park it that was relatively quiet (more so than Walmart).  It was quiet enough except that when I laid my head down on the pillow at 9 pm, I heard a train and loudspeaker go on…ugh.  The next train came by at 7 am so it wasn’t bad for us.  The train station was about 100 yards from the tracks.

Campbellton future RV park...just trying it out.
