Day 10: Leaving Miscou Island to explore the New Brunswick Coast

Weds, Oct 8 2014:
We left the lovely island of Miscou today to head south along the coast of New Brunswick.  Stopped to do wifi in Tim Horton’s (Timmy’s to the Canadians).  It NEVER ceases to amaze me that our Canadian neighbors will wait in a line that is 27 cars long to get their coffee and goodies! (Honest, we counted because the line was so long!)  We also passed a peat harvesting area…now we know where are many bags of peat moss came from!  Our overnight tonight was the beach at Cap-Lumiere. …just off the paved road.  Raining hard!  Before this there weren’t many picnic parks/rest areas in this part of the province; the choices were few.  Timmy’s are frequent so we have plenty of choices for wifi when we are moving.  We did manage to get in a short walk on the beach before the sky opened up again.

A no photo day...
