Tues, Oct 14: Kodachrome State Park, UT/DUMP/WATER to HOLE in the Rock Road, Escalante, UT

Since it stopped raining pretty early last night and we are in a dry climate, we moved on to Hole in the Rock Road Boondocking. There is no immediate rain in forecast either. We've never had fall rain before while traveling in the southwest! AND I am not paying $46 again. We have been here at least once before to this park.

With stop in small grocery store in Escalante and then at a clinic in Escalante to get my lungs checked/cough since March/April. I have appointment tomorrow a.m. Mind you there was NO ONE in the office except for receptionist and only a few cars outside....so not sure how busy they actually were to not just check my breathing quick....

We found a nice big spacious spot at Hole in the Rock Road and we were in no way alone but it was a very large area. I had thought it would be much smaller so pleasantly surprised. An assortment of rv's had taken up residence in the area and all were well spaced. Mali dog got her 70 foot long line but was disappointed that there were no bushes with lizards in them.

Walk in the evening....so many spaces in this area....not sure what the weekend will bring.
