Thurs, Oct 2: Big Horns to Thermopolis hot spring/ONP Lander Walmart

We rolled at 7:15am. First stop was Young's Camper repair in Worland, wy...we called on a whim and he said bring it by and lets try something. They tried “somethings” for two hours while David shadowed and yacked at him. In the end it was the ignitor. $200 later but in the end we threw him another $100 because he saved us lots of time finding someone else to fix it. Thermopolis State Park hot springs...the free one...the last two times we paid but now I know where the free one is. You get 20 minutes for free but can come back two hours later for another 20 minutes. David was tempted on the second 20 minutes...me not so much. A nice soak was had but 20 minutes was more than enough for me.

The drive thru Wind River Canyon is beautiful feels like you are going down in elevation while the water is flowing north....

Next stop was boysen state park in Shoshone to dump our tanks and take on some water. It took a bit to find the actual dump station. It is on the left side of road heading south in the complex with the ranger station. It is paid. How much I don't know and where to put the money...don't know. There are only two spots in which to dump which is few compared to the handful of campgrounds that comprise Boysen State Park.

Tonight we parked overnight at the Riverton Walmart and also picked up some groceries. We've stayed here one other time.
