Day 27: Thurs,

Today we created a
DIY hike for ourselves…early hiking in to one of the canyons on the road
leading to the Needles section of Canyonlands.
There were about 5 beefs/cattle
roaming…at least one bull? Mali was VERY
well behaved and did not make a sound…just kept walking. First time wearing her backpack too! We
walked a wash aiming for a canyon…david went further than I did along with
Mali. Mali got a good workout scrambling
and her nails got filed! More awesome views and some good exercise. Clouding day turning to partly sunny. Home in time for lunch and relax by a fire…some
walking in the area. Prep for move day
tomorrow.
