Day 9 - October 10, 2017: Needles Overlook/blm lands

Day 9 – Tuesday, October 10, 2017: Our spot on BLM lands has some pretty amazing views so today we walked around the are to see what there was to see…over the rim. In the afternoon we took a couple of hours to jeep on one of the dirt roads. Our drive took us to the Anticline overlook.
Both the Needles Overlook and the Anticline Overlook are long drives in from route 191 but worth every mile. Both because of the longer drive (not next to the road and we have a lot to do in 2 weeks) are very underserved.
Anticline Overlook only saw three other cars the day we were there and only one the day before! We got back to the box/rv for dinner with a hungry pup (always bring kibble…no outfit is complete without kibble and a wag bag).
