Day 32, Tuesday, Oct 4: Bell Fourche Reservoir South Dakota
Well we had a surprise today…and not a good one. Even though we dumped tanks yesterday, we have been lax in shining a light down toilet to make sure its clear before finishing the dump process. We won’t do that again. Apparently we were slowly building a toilet paper and….pyramid. I heard a weird noise after flushing but then got busy with breakfast and forgot about it. I was to be reminded when I went in and attempted to flush again…ack, it wasn’t emptying out of the lower tube post flush. A quick folding up of rv and off to the Rocky Point Campground to flush it out…luckily only 1 mile away. It took FIVE fillings and flushings and backflushings AND a long stick I found on the ground (poking) to eventually clear it. Toilet paper mounds (etc) that were not easy to move out! Will not do that again! Then back to the FREE campsite we just had.
