Day 31, Monday, Oct 3: North Unit Teddy Roosevelt National Park to Belle Fourche Reservoir/wildlife refuge
While David was dumping tanks at Teddy, I took off with Mali for a walk out…David picked me up when done. Was hoping I would not round a bend and find a buffalo as Mali would bark at that for sure.
We arrived by 2pm and drove around a bit to find a great spot. There were only 2 other units there and one arrived after us. They have trash and pit toilets/NOPE. Waterfront.
Sent Mali running after a heron twice (she’d never catch it too far away) but she had fun chasing it FAST and running down beach when it tried to find another spot and then I called her back. The second time after a rain she came back with mudslippers! Worth the clean up to watch her just tear off. She needs to run!
Relaxed. Too much relaxing.
