Day 7:
We had left the house
heater on all night but on the lowest it would go and it ran periodically
because it was about 36 degrees outside.
Woke up to a dead house battery so no heat or generator until we ran the
engine four a few minutes. Lesson
learned…should have added that second battery that we talked about.
Also this battery has had issues in the past with previous owner; we will be checking water level and perhaps buying new one.

In the morning we further explored the wash behind our boondocking spot going further into it.

Wild Horse Window |
I can tell you granny and young children weren’t going there/fido yes…but after we found the unmarked trail it was a slog up hill to the deceivingly close arch. 2.5 hours from our motorhome return. It was scenic.
Same scenic boondocking spot.

Great Pictures!
ReplyDeleteLove,
Great area. There are many acres of BLM lands (our public lands) surrounding Goblin Valley State Park which makes it even more fantabulous. It is on our list for a return visit.
