Hidden Canyon Arch |
Hikes included: Hidden Canyon and Riverside Walk up to Narrows
Having some gastrointestinal issues, these hikes are David's...although if they had lots of exposure, they are still his hikes.

Interesting marks on the rock |
After a long hike yesterday, I decided to do some short hikes today. You hike up a serious hill with switchbacks and take the Hidden Canyon turn off. Nice canyon wall on one side and back to the arch...where 'wildlife habitat" signs stopped me from going any further.

view down from the trail |
The arch is a small arch...maybe 15 or 18 feet tall at the top. Walked out and took the shuttle further up Zion Canyon to walk the Riverside walk...as far as you could go without getting your feet wet (2 miles round trip).

Narrows walk |
A stop at the Human Museum completed the day. We have determined that the best time to come to Zion is when it is colder so there will be less hoards of people...possibly when the shuttles stop running for the season. Then there might be no lines on the hikes, etc.
