Day 4: Thurs, Sept 5: Shenango Recration Area to Proud Lake State Park in Michigan (to visit volunteer friends). Stops today to pick up rx for me that I screwed up on getting before we left. Suburban detroit traffic is not nice! Settled into Proud Lake Recreation area campground. Here is my review. Nice bathhouse after yesterdays, no laundry. Sites are close and not very level. 3 nights is $104 plus $22 for the recreation permit $126 for 3 nights...normally will not pay this but visiting friends and this is closest.
