Day 11/May 14, 2016 Campground/Peggy’s Cove area to…Chezzetcook,

We did the exploratory, required visit to Peggy’s
Cove…one of Nova Scotia’s best known tourist places….didn’t stay long...a quick
walk and it was super cloudy/misty.

Into Halifax/Dartmouth to go food shopping,
propane/gas fill up…couldn’t wait to get out of that little city. Now I know where all the people in Nova
Scotia live. We prefer the slower sort
of travel.

Selected an overnight spot down the end of a road
in Chezzetcook beach/Big Lake…walk on beach.
Sun came out in the p.m. and the tide was low so we took a nice long
walk on the beach while the sun was setting.
This time on the sand instead of the rocks…much nicer.
Wildlife sightings so far: lots of Pheasants (when is the last time you
saw one of those…me never), a partridge or quail (not sure on that one), only 1
deer, a moose bum.
