Day 37: Lake Mead, NV

Today we left Graham’s early to do some errands and get a campsite at Lake Mead (Boulder Beach).  $10 was quite the deal so we went for it.  Not a lot of campers here.

Before checking in we stopped at Lake Mead Marina to feed the carp (Graham’s recommendation since we were going that way).  They were rather large and HUNGRY.  They were all but climbing over each other to get  the bread and the ducks kept using the carp as platforms to walk on!   Quite funny.  Our first cloudy day.  A windy day.

Today we also saw quails in the wild...well it was the parking lot of Camping World but it was outside.
